Specialty coffee in Vienna , a small shop where you can find different types of coffee here ( V60 or chemex, cappuccino, late) all coffees are fresh handmade. There are coconut and blueberry muffinsand cockies and browneis with great taste. Only a few people can sit inside. Staff was so kind and subreb…
The coffee is ok, nothing special.. expected better coffee for a specialty cafe.
Good coffee and quite a choice of coffee beans. Watching people passing by is a classic activity for the coffee house, the only problem here, the street is in Vienna, small and not what you would call bustling. So while sitting in the shop window drinking your coffee it is you that turn into a spectacle for invisible eyes.
Unbelievable for a European capital, this Wiener Café has no toilet available for its guests!!!
I was wondering how a place like this is allowed to be open! Do they have a valid license?
According to VKI (Verein für Konsumenteninformation) if a place serves drinks and/or food to be consumed right there, they are supposed to have toilets available for their guests.
While asking the staff about this, another customer accused me of not being Austrian. After I left, he and the staff made jokes and laughed about me.
I will definitely contact the Magistrat in Vienna and the WKO about this very unfortunate, intolerable events.
nice coffee, cute location, about €4 for latte to go
I’ve come here twice now, the first time I got a doppio for takeaway after asking more about the beans they use and was met with an answer. When I get coffee I’m interested in the flavour notes and region of which the coffee comes from. Today I got two espressi and a hand brew, but sadly it seemed like the barista was a bit clueless about the beans that they use. The espresso tasted really burnt and bitter. Cafe itself has very dull vibes, but it seems like it’s meant for takeaway which is understandable. Wide variety of beans for sale.
The Staff declined our order of a Hand-Brew / Pour Over Coffee, because "not right now". Roughly five minutes later the staff members were bored behind the counter.
We instead ordered an espresso, it was good.
On perhaps the most charming pedestrian street in Wien, the coffee has always been consistently good.
